He was five years old when he began his lessons in Tang Soo Do.
At eleven years old, he obtained his first black belt. Since then, it
has become part of his life.

The greatest single influence in his life will always be his
father(Great Grand Master Song Ki Kim).

He learned not only physical techniques, but more importantly, Strong
Tang Soo Do Spirit.

In 1980, He realized his specialty was in teaching, and he have found
great fulfillment in these experiences.

He would like to make a difference in people’s lives through his
knowledge of the art of Tang Soo Do.

The tradition of Tang Soo Do has continued here in America when Master
Jino Kim brought it here from Korea.

• 1st Degree Black Belt Tang Soo Do in 1975 (Korea Tang Soo Do Fed.#19025)
• 7th Degree Black Belt, Certified from World Tang Soo Do Union (July 2003)
• 8th Degree Black Belt, Certified from World Tang Soo Do Union (April 2012)
• 49 Years Tang Soo Do experience
• Degree in Physical Education from Korea’s Dan-Kook University/Korean Army(1983-1990)
• Instructor at Song Tan Moo Duk Kwan (HQ of the World Tang Soo Do Union) in Korea
• Arrived here in the USA in Aug. 1991
• Founder of the Continental Tang Soo Do Federation & J. Kim Martial Arts in Dublin, Ohio (June 1992)
