Master Annie Soo-Mott, 5th Dan, took up the study of Tang Soo Do in 1967, along with her brother, Master Floyd Soo, at Master Sang Kyu Shim’s Detroit Tang Soo Do Association. She was 12 at the time. During her Cho Dan test in 1969 she had to break four un-spaced boards with a jump spinning back kick. Master Soo-Mott also continues her training with Master Mike March in the Michigan area.
